By installing or using the Nullrate app or this website, you agree to these terms. They’re written to be readable; nothing important is hidden in legalese.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Nullrate on your own devices. You may not redistribute, decompile, or commercialize the app or its contents.
Subscription and trial
If you start a 7-day free trial, no charge happens during the trial. You can cancel any time in your App Store subscription settings. As long as you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you won’t be billed. Subscription length, renewal, and pricing are governed by Apple’s standard subscription rules.
Rates disclaimer
This is the most important section in these terms. Read it twice.
The exchange rates shown in Nullrate are indicative reference rates, refreshed once per day from a third-party provider and locked for the day. They are intended for travel, casual conversion, and curiosity. They are explicitly not suitable for trading, hedging, settlement, accounting, or any commercial decision where rate accuracy or timing matters. Real-world rates differ from our reference values by the spread your bank, broker, or remitter charges. We make no representation that the rates are current, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose, and we accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on them.
No warranty, limited liability
Nullrate is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of Nullrate is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Nullrate to harass others, attempt to break the app or our infrastructure, scrape data systematically, reverse-engineer the app, or do anything illegal. We can suspend access for any of the above.
Intellectual property
The Nullrate name, logo, app, code, and copy are ours. Exchange-rate data is sourced from third-party providers under their own licenses. You keep ownership of anything you send us through the contact form.
Termination
You can stop using Nullrate at any time by deleting the app. We can terminate or suspend access if you breach these terms. The disclaimers and liability sections survive termination.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. We’ll bump the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
